Grassroots Environmental Education
The mission of Grassroots is to educate the public about the links between common environmental exposures and human health problems. Their programs include (among others): The Grassroots Healthy Lawn Program (GHLP) is an award-winning pesticide reduction program designed to alter the balance of supply and demand for natural lawn care products and services through professional and consumer education. The Living Lawn
The Living Lawn Project advocates for the use of organic methods to establish and maintain lawns, playing fields and parks. Pesticide use is a known hazard to the health and development of children and pets.
